QUESTIONS ABOUT SHIPPING COSTS
We have had some questions why our shipping is so high. Here is our answer.
The prices we charge for shipping is $8.50 in the US and Canada and $13.00 everywhere else. The simple answer is that’s what it costs.
To ship from North Carolina to the west coast costs between $8.00 and $10.00 dollars so we actually lose money on those orders. We get nothing for boxing or packing material. To ship closer to NC it costs between $6.00 and $8.00 which helps offset the loss we take on the other orders. As far as everywhere else we charge $13.00 and it costs us between $13.00 and $19.00 to ship to Europe.
It is a pretty common practice to inflate the price of the product and charge less for shipping. The bottom line is you still pay the shipping.
We do not do that, we like to take the honest approach.
